Green & Gold Apothecary

eCommerce Website

As part of a Web Design 1 assignment to code a website from scratch, the decision of what the website was to feature was left to the individual students. It had only to be an eCommerce site, with both desktop and mobile versions. Being that it was fall, Paige went spooky: an apothecary shop with a glam twist. Students were not required to create logos or do branding of any sort, but Paige will be Paige (and Paige thinks branding is fun): a logo was forged to make this site beautiful!

All design and HTML/CSS coding was done by Paige using Adobe Dreamweaver. Paige mixed nature and technology, old and new, edgy and ethereal to shape a business image that felt unique and eye-catching. It followed a simple, intuitive flow to navigate through a complex business model which included not only a commerce functionality, but community event listings and calendars, as well as a café-style area complete with menus.
